This page explains exactly what RelayAI holds about you, where it sits, and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
What we store
- Your RelayAI account — the email address you sign up with, and your password stored as a scrypt hash. We cannot read your password.
- Your Discord account — your Discord user ID and username, if you link Discord to apply a paid rank.
- Saved homework logins — if you choose to save one. These are encrypted with your master password. We hold the encrypted blob and nothing else, so we cannot read your saved logins or your master password. Change your master password and every saved login is destroyed, because there is no way to decrypt them again.
- Usage counters — how many tasks we have completed for you, per platform.
- Answers — the questions and answers themselves, kept so the next person asking the same question gets an instant reply. These are stored against the question, not against you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
- We do not read your saved logins. The encryption makes that impossible, not merely against policy.
- We do not touch your homework accounts except to do the work you asked for.
Where it lives
Everything runs on our own hardware in the United Kingdom, not a rented cloud host. The database is not exposed to the internet.
Who else sees it
- Discord — the bot runs on Discord, so Discord handles the messages you send it, under their own privacy policy.
- Processing providers — question text and screenshots may be sent to third-party services in order to work out an answer. They receive the question, not your identity or your login details.
- Cloudflare — serves this website and sees standard request data such as your IP address.
We do not share your information with anyone else, and we have never received a request to hand any of it over.
Deleting your data
Open a support ticket in our Discord server and ask. We will delete your account, your saved logins and your usage history. Say the word and it is gone; we do not keep a copy.
You can remove saved logins yourself at any time by changing your master password, which destroys all of them immediately.
If you are under 13
Discord does not allow accounts for under-13s, so neither do we. If you are under 13, do not use RelayAI. If you are between 13 and 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to use it.
One honest warning. A saved login is a real login. Only save an account you are comfortable trusting us with, and never save an account that is not yours to use.
